Terms & Conditions
All events/bookings made with Buff Butler Services are subjected to the following terms and conditions.
Once the booking has been accepted and confirmed you have a legally binding contract as the consumer of a service and the service provider.
All terms are governed by English law and are enforceable but
do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Booking
A job will only be confirmed once a deposit has been paid.
Contact can be made by phone or email.
The client/customer are responsible for ensuring the correct details are given for the event/booking.
Details are to be given as soon as possible to ensure the event/booking runs smoothly as possible.
Events/bookings are only accepted to clients/customers over the age of 18.
Risks and responsibilities.
The company is not responsible for any loss, theft or damage of clients/customers property or the venue that is scheduled for the event/booking where the service to be held.
The company is not responsible for offence caused due to the nature of the event/booking being organised.
The staff member for the event/booking can issue a warning and has the right to cancel the event/booking if made to feel;
Uncomfortable.
Humiliated.
Threatened.
Assaulted.
Further actions may be taken by the staff member dependant on the situation and clients/customers will not be entitled to a refund for the event/booking.
Services
The company will provide a specified number of staff as discussed and confirmed by both parties for the event/booking.
The company staff members will provide a service which includes;
Hosting the event/booking if necessary.
Taking pictures and posing for pictures.
Serve drinks, food and any other serving duties that are required within reason.
The company will supply staff members, if you have any specific preferences, the company will try to match suitable staff however we will supply the staff best suited and available at the time of event/booking.
Clients/customers agree to treat all our staff in a non-discriminatory manner with the upmost respect that the staff members deserve.
The clients/customers are not permitted to encourage staff members to do any of the following at the event/booking;
Anything illegal.
Anything that could be considered illegal.
Anything that is unlawful.
Anything unsafe.
Anything which makes the butler feels uncomfortable.
Members of staff are self-employed independent contractors.
During the event/booking if any of these terms are broken then the staff members are entitled to leave the event/booking immediately and no refunds will be issued.
Adult Service
The staff member will be dressed as agreed between both parties prior to the event/booking, any issues on the day of the booking shall be void.
All staff members are over the age of eighteen and it is presumed that all attendees to the event/booking will be over the age of eighteen.
The company accepts no responsibility for any attendees under the age of eighteen at the event/booking. The client/customer organising event/booking are responsibility to check the age criteria.
Pictures.
Pictures are permitted with staff members, staff will pose with the attendees for pictures, if you tag the picture via social media or send photographs from the event/booking, the company can reserve the right to use the pictures as seen fit on websites, social media or as promotional material.
The company has asked our staff members to capture pictures/videos at events/bookings, attendees happy with this also gives the company rights to use footage for platforms or for promotional purposes.
Pictures can be requested to be removed via email if needed.
Pictures of staff members may be sent to you upon request however we reserve the right to change the staff member if the staff member booked becomes unavailable last minute, the company accepts no responsibilities for requests of refunds or compensation made by group members of the event/booking due to last minute changes, the company will inform the client/customer of the change in a timely manner, dependant of the nature of the circumstance.
Pricing
The prices quoted for the enquiry are correct for the event/booking type agreed, it is possible that prices may change dependent on the company or clients/customers negotiating any other terms from the initial confirmation.
If there are any issues with the amount agreed upon then the company have the right to withdraw from the event/booking and keep the deposit.
if an issue cannot be resolved between both parties at any point of the event/booking, then both parties may withdraw from the agreement with the deposit forfeited.
The company will advise the client/customer of any changes in price or error of pricing that needs to be amended before the event/booking, the company reserves the right to amend and correct errors in price at any time before we confirm a booking.
If the client/customer wants to change or vary from the agreement the company reserves the rights to withdraw from the event/booking.
Corporate rates are eligible if the event/booking are made within a 12-month period. Travel costs are a fixed amount and shall be calculated based on the location of the staff member in relation to the destination/location of the event/booking.
Refunds/cancelations
All deposits subjected to the services required by the client/customer.
Clients/customers will lose full deposit if they cancel the event/booking.
The client/customer shall be liable for any reasonable cost incurred by the company in the event of cancellation of any booking via the deposit.
Amendments to the event/booking date can be changed within a two-week period before the event/booking, requests to amend the date of event/booking after this time period won't be permitted.
Under extreme circumstances the event/booking may be changed once reviewed and confirmed by the company.
Any changes to booking may be subject to administration charges these will be advised to you upon booking
Complaints
complaints must be made to the company as soon as possible to enable a prompt and timely resolution.
complaints must be e-mailed with as much detail as possible.
The company deals with complaints as soon as possible, however a delay within seven days of the complaint being logged may occur due to the nature of the compliant.
Definitions
‘Event/booking’ is the function/party where the service with be performed in the agreed location that will be specified in the event/booking confirmation.
‘Event/booking date’ is the date you accept the quotation of the event/booking and it is communicated via email, phone and is the date the event/booking is to be held on.
‘Bank Account’ is the business account or any other bank account that is linked to the company supplied to the client/customer requiring payment of the service required.
‘Deposit’ is the amount that is required for the service needed by the client/customer to secure the event/booking.
‘Clients/customers’ refers to the person in charge of organising the event/booking, the person the company is in direct communication with.
